American Americans

One of my favorite quotes of all times is the one below from Martin Luther King. The essence of humanity is that we are all people with the same dreams, desires and wants. To enrich our lives with happiness, joys and prosperity’s. To treat others just as how we want to be treated and to grow as people of excellence as we learn from what’s behind us and make what’s in front the best ever.

America is the only country where we are not of ethnicity, religion or sect but as American Americans. United as one for the welfare and good of others and our selves. A nation that by enlarge lives and flourishes on basic rights of human dignity and honesty.

I hope you and I will continue to strive to live by example so others may see us as a ray of shinning hope and regard America as the beacon of the highest civilization in human history.

My thoughts today.

“Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

One Response to American Americans

    Love these thoughts 🙂

It’s similar to living by the golden rule: do unto others as you would do unto yourself. Because in the end, what you do to others is only happening to yourself. When we create that peace in others, we create it within ourselves.

The real Freedom I feel that American have is the “pursuit of happiness” as the founding fathers wrote. The notion that if you try, through trials and struggles, you can enact positive change in your life as well as others.

    🙂
