Beginning his career in the family jewelry business in New Delhi India, Andy developed and coordinated alternative market channels that lead to new product development and 15% increased market share. Demonstrating initiative from the start, he pioneered sales, account management, jewelry buying, vendor relations, customer relationships and marketing in the Overland Park, Kansas area. Quickly distinguishing himself as a leader, Andy earned fast-track respect from Family, Customers and Community Leaders of Kansas City.
Leveraging an ever-expanding portfolio of qualifications covering sales, operations, strategy development and general management core competencies. He provided time and again his flexibility in responding to changing market conditions and his ability to “wear many hats” in the effort to meet and exceed business goals and challenges. Tasked with providing leadership through start-up, growth, and turnaround situations, he repeatedly proved his ability to deliver strong and sustained results with Karats Fine Jewelry in Overland Park, KS.
Most recently, Andy was challenged with reorganizing Karats Jewelers marketing strategy and vendor relations as market and economic conditions change rapidly within the U.S. Andy is also credited as the visionary and leader behind an aggressive plan that in more than doubled Karats Fine Jewelry’s inventory and annual revenue in last two years.
Throughout his career, Andy has had the opportunity to establish a strong network of contacts wherever he goes, knowing congressman Kevin Yoder, Leawood City Mayor Peggy Dunn, Kansas Governor, and many more are the important network of contacts that he socializes and meets with on regular basis.
Andy is a proud Anand family member who had the vision to branched out and make his own path in the United States.
